Ning Gui nodded softly before heading inside to pack.

Once in the car, Mrs. Ning noticed Ning Gui sifting through the documents Ning Shen had left her. She frowned, concerned. “Gui… you’re not thinking of seeing him, are you?”

She knew the complicated relationship between Ning Shen and Ning Gui. Although Ning Shen had been cold and ruthless with everyone else, he had always treated Ning Gui differently.

Xiao Yize nodded. “Once we separate the legal assets, we’ll return those to you.”

Ning Gui shook her head. “There’s no need. Any part that’s his, let him bear.”

“Is Yangyang here?” Ning Gui asked again.

Xiao Yize looked at his watch and said, “She should be in the capital’s mental hospital now. She’s staying at the Gu family’s house recently. If you want to look for her, you can wait for her at the Gu family’s house.”

Ning Gui nodded and asked, “Can I go and see Ning Shen?”

Xiao Yize: “Sure, look for Lin Ran or Chu Ying about this.”
