Chapter 1370: Eleven

Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation

What he said seemed to hit the mark.

The artifact spirit elaborated, “For any civilization, its population forms the bedrock. As long as that foundation stands, generations will arise, ensuring its continuation. In the future, there will undoubtedly emerge skilled individuals.

“So, you grasp the repercussions of destabilizing a major power’s foundation, right?”

The artifact spirit laid out the pros and cons for Braydon Neal.

Braydon naturally grasped the concept.

He was, after all, safeguarding the one billion members of Hansworth.

A nation’s populace served as the bedrock of its civilization.

Without its people, what was there to preserve?

With no inhabitants, civilizations crumbled.

Millennia later, all that remained were ruins and enigmas.

It mirrored the outside world, where numerous nations boasted their legacies.

Each left behind boundless mysteries.

It was the disappearance of populations that spelled the end for civilizations.

Braydon learned the Spirit Sea’s guardian’s true nature from the artifact spirit: a soul slave.

A being bound eternally by another’s soul!

Soul slaves forfeited their freedom indefinitely.

Should the master perish, so would the soul slave.

Utilizing spatial translocation, Braydon vanished from the Spirit Sea.

The black-robed man remained in place, observing Braydon’s departure.

He mused, “He possesses the spatial body. As a local emperor, he can kill divine-level warriors effortlessly. Once he delves into the Spirit Sea, he’ll be akin to a dragon plunging into the depths. I wonder how much his strength will be amplified.”

A glimmer of anticipation flickered in the black-robed man’s eyes.

If he could recruit exceptional individuals to venture into the Spirit Sea’s inner sanctum, he would finally reclaim his freedom!

The soul seal binding him would be lifted.

From that moment onward, he’d roam freely under the heavens.

The Spirit Sea held countless enigmas.

Arriving at the 11th ruin.

Braydon utilized spatial translocation.

After half a day, he reached the 11th ruin.

His arrival went unnoticed by the ruins’ inhabitants.

No one would have conceived that someone could traverse the Spirit Sea and descend into the ruins.

The 11th ruin had been dormant for a millennium.

But now, the ruins seethed with activity.

A multitude of aboriginal martial artists congregated, their numbers stretching as far as the eye could see.

Tens of millions of aboriginal warriors answered the summons of their local dynasty, assembling before the bronze door.

Once the gate swung open, they would surge forth.

Divine-level pressure pervaded the area before the bronze door.

It stood on the verge of opening.

Clad in white, Braydon charged ahead.

Passing through the 11th ruin, he beheld the aboriginal army’s assembly.

If unleashed upon the outside world, these aboriginals would surely wreak havoc upon the hundred countries.

“Fifty-nine divine level figures!”

Braydon sensed the formidable auras from a distance.

Two among them were particularly potent.

Undoubtedly, they had reached the extreme divine realm!

They weren’t spirit beasts nor plant demon divines.

They were two aboriginals!

One dressed in white, the other in black, both appearing youthful.

Yet, atop their heads sprouted two horns.

“In three days, unlock this bronze door,” the black-robed youth declared icily. “Or face annihilation!”

“Yes, sir!”

The other divine-level figures around him betrayed traces of fear in their eyes.

This individual hailed from the Spirit Sea, a realm of prodigies.

The Spirit Sea abided by strict regulations.

Once entered, there was no looking back unless surpassing the divine realm.

Exceeding the divine realm bound one to the Spirit Sea’s rules.

Yet, some defied these rules.

Take the Spirit Sea Thirteen, for instance.

The Thirteenth Master’s lone massacre of numerous guardians of order plunged the Spirit Sea into turmoil.

Given such precedents, it was unsurprising for influential figures within the Spirit Sea to dispatch two prodigies, bypassing the guardians of order.

The white-robed youth grinned. “No need for alarm, everyone. The world beyond is even grander. Plus, we’ve intel on certain ruins outside possessing ruins capable of propelling you past the extreme divine realm.”

“May we inquire, sir, about these ruins?” a spirit beast queried, voice lowered with caution.

“Some examples would be the Temple of Heaven’s sacrificial grounds and the triangular sea region,” the white-robed youth divulged with warmth.

The ruins’ denizens plotted forays into the outside world, their knowledge of it evidently extensive.

The Temple of Heaven was on their radar.

The Temple of Heaven lay in Tianshan, a locale they dared not covet—the domain of former Sovereign Lords, a lair they dared not recklessly assail.

Yet, other destinations warranted exploration.

Using spatial translocation, Braydon arrived.

“You’re quite versed in the outside world,” he remarked softly.

“Who’s there?” Many divine-level beings were taken aback.

“Spatial translocation?”

“Jaromir Neal!” The black-robed youth’s gaze chilled. “In the Spirit Sea’s depths, only he possesses the spatial body. I didn’t expect to encounter another today!”

“Friend, do you hail from the Spirit Sea?” The white-robed youth showed surprise.

The bronze door remained shut, ruling out an entrance from the outside.

To bypass their detection, the newcomer must have hailed from the Spirit Sea’s direction.

“I hail from beyond,” Braydon replied composedly.

“Impossible. This door’s been sealed for a millennium. How did you enter?”

All divine-level creatures present held significant status—hailing from forbidden precincts or serving as the 11th Oracle Palace’s esteemed Great Divine Priests.

They couldn’t fathom Braydon’s origins.

“You entered through the ruins’ gateway and traversed the Spirit Sea to reach here?” the black-robed youth queried, incredulous.

Braydon smiled without answering, casting a glance at the divine-level beings present.

If they ventured into the outside world…

It’d spell calamity.

The white-robed youth’s demeanor grew solemn.

“I hadn’t anticipated such a prodigy in the outside world. To navigate the ruins and traverse the Spirit Sea unscathed as an emperor realm cultivator—you’re remarkable. I believe I know who you are!”

“The seventy-third successor of Kylo, Braydon Neal!” the black-robed youth disclosed.

Braydon’s name had indeed circulated among the denizens of the Spirit Sea.

While the realm itself wasn’t sealed, news circulated among the 3,000 ruins, keeping its inhabitants informed.

Many Spirit Sea prodigies had heard of Braydon.

“You hail from the Spirit Sea?” Braydon inquired.

“Spirit Sea Cloud Mist Pavilion’s Wake White,” the white-robed youth introduced himself.

“Spirit Sea Cloud Mist Pavilion’s Bryn Black,” the black-robed youth added quietly.

“And I am a nobody, Braydon Neal,” Braydon replied calmly.

Wake and Bryn’s expressions darkened.

A nobody? How could anyone tolerate such a label?

Yet, Braydon remained unperturbed.

“Between you two and the thirteen disciples of the Spirit Sea,” he queried softly, “who stands stronger?”

“We pale in comparison to the thirteen Spirit Sea disciples,” Wake admitted, shaking his head.

The disparity was glaring.

They hadn’t even surpassed the divine realm, while the thirteen disciples stood as beings transcending it—all formidable individuals.

Braydon nodded understandingly. “You two can attack together. Time’s of the essence; I must proceed to the 8th ruin after settling matters here.”
