Top Bull introduced in Japanese, “This player’s ID is ‘A Zhe.’ Get to know each other. She can speak Chinese.”

Fan Quan repeated his words in Chinese, then handed a blue-and-white chest badge to Top Bull, saying, “You can use this to talk.”

“What is this?” Top Bull asked with a cigarette in his mouth.

Fan Quan explained, “It’s a little toy I bought from the system mall. It lets you understand other languages without barriers and speak them fluently.”

He paused, “You are the only one here who doesn’t speak Chinese, so it’s perfect for you.”

Top Bull sighed upon hearing this and pinned the badge on his chest.

Ke Mingye nodded and looked at the JK girl, “Hello.”

“You, hello.”

A Zhe stammered softly, her eyes downcast, seemingly unaccustomed to speaking in such a crowded setting.

Fan Quan asked Top Bull, “Didn’t you say that besides you, there were two local players in Tokyo? Why has only one come?”

Top Bull explained, “The other player’s ID is ‘Night Talk.’ His birth point is a novelist, and his parents are his agents. There happened to be a signing event today, watched by editors, so he couldn’t get away.”

Ke Mingye was astonished, reacting as if he had heard a primitive person speak.

He asked, “No, how suddenly can he speak Chinese?”

“It’s because of that badge.” Fan Quan adjusted his glasses, “I spent a thousand mall coins on it.”

Qing Meng raised an eyebrow, “Sounds useful. I’ll see if I can find one in my mall. It’ll make coordinating with foreign players easier.”

Ke Mingye then asked, “So, which dungeon are we six going to play?”

Top Bull answered, “Tokyo Port Area, Rainbow Bridge of Tokyo Bay. The dungeon’s name is ‘Rainbow Bridge Battle,’ suitable for players above level 10. It requires six players to start, and we have just enough.”

“A six-person dungeon?” Ke Mingye tilted his head, “That sounds extravagant; it’s my first time coming across a dungeon that has a player requirement.”

“No need to scare ourselves. Let’s just go there and see. If we fail, we can always try again.”

Fan Quan spoke as he was already getting up from the cafe.
