“I thought you guys were done eating, so I ate it all to avoid wasting it. By the way, are you going to eat what’s in your bowls? If not, I’ll eat it,” Xue Ling stared at their food, drooling. The food was indeed delicious.

“In your dreams! We haven’t even eaten yet! And seriously, where do you put all that food in your stomach? You’re so small, yet you eat so much,” Qin Xue eyed her belly. The thing was, no matter how much she ate, her belly remained flat. It was infuriating!

“So stingy,” Xue Ling pouted and muttered.

“What, you think I’m stingy? You don’t even know what stingy really means!” Qin Xue retorted while eating.

She was afraid that if she didn’t hurry up and eat, even what was left in her bowl would be gone soon. Xue Ling was terrifying when she got into eating.

Chu Molin listened to their exchange and looked at the empty plates, feeling helpless as they continued to fight over food.

“Xue’er, you haven’t eaten much. Should we order another portion?” Chu Molin asked his wife.

“No need, finishing this is enough. We still have a lot of things to do; we can’t afford to waste so much time. We can come back to eat again next time,” Qin Xue didn’t want to delay any further. She hadn’t forgotten why they were out in the first place.

“Alright, let’s go shopping after we finish eating,” Chu Molin reluctantly agreed. He knew that if they didn’t finish their tasks, his wife wouldn’t be in the mood for anything else. He regretted making such a decision.

No, he must raise the prices later. That way, the group of little brats will be too afraid of the cost to order too much, and he could have more time to spend with his wife.

That’s what he would do. This way, his family would have more time together, which would be beneficial for nurturing their relationship.
