“Thunder, what time did the lady return? She looks really tired.” Rain wasn’t around last night so she didn’t know about Nangong Beiying’s situation.

“Just before dawn.” Thunder concentrated on driving, not even glancing at Rain.

“No wonder she’s so tired. Then I should rest too.” Rain didn’t want to disturb Nangong Beiying, but she didn’t want to sit idly either, so she decided to sleep as well.

“Hm.” Thunder wasn’t much for conversation either. His attempts to talk with Rain were a chore for him, so her falling asleep was a good choice.

“Is the lady asleep?” Cloud asked as she saw Nangong Beiying sleeping. She wondered if sleeping like this was comfortable.

“Yes, she fell asleep as soon as she got on the car.” After Cloud had seated herself, Thunder answered her.

“Since her return, she hasn’t had a good rest. Will she be able to sustain her health this way?” Cloud was worriedly looking at Nangong Beiying. She had been losing weight since her return, which made all four of them distressed, but it was her responsibility. Therefore, they would do their best to lighten her load, so she could rest more.

Thunder turned back to look at Nangong Beiying without saying a word, trying his best to drive smoothly to avoid disturbing her sleep with jerky movements.

“Deputy leader, should we wait for the cousin lady here or wake the lady and wait inside?” Thunder asked Cloud after parking the car.

“Let’s wait in the car, let the lady sleep more.” Cloud spoke softly.

“Okay.” Thunder closed his eyes to rest.
