Chapter 1282: Chapter 1276: Woke Up Late Again_1 Chapter 1282: Chapter 1276: Woke Up Late Again_1 Chu Molin heard a mumble, nothing else, which he found strange. Looking down, he noticed that the little woman had fallen asleep again. Wasn’t she sleeping too much?
Chu Molin chuckled, glanced at the sky outside, and decided to exercise. He’d wanted to have a lazy day, but it didn’t seem right for him.
When Qin Xue woke up again, Chu Molin was already gone. It seemed she had slept well into the morning.
Qin Xue wore overalls today, making her look young and lively. Her hair was tied up in a bun, full of energy. She didn’t look like the mother of two kids at all.
“Wife, do you have any events on for today?” Chu Molin asked as soon as he entered the room and saw Qin Xue’s look. It had been a while since he’d seen her dressed like this.
“No, I just noticed this outfit, so I decided to wear it.” Qin Xue shrugged on a coat, returning to her usual look.
The weather was cold; she couldn’t go without a coat. She had to wear one, or she would get sick. After all, it was her own suffering if she got sick for the sake of looking good.
“You might not have anything on, but I do. I prepared for you to meet someone.” Chu Molin revealed. He met Qin Lang today, who had come looking for him, but he didn’t plan on reintroducing Qin Xue to Qin Huaihe.
“Who are we meeting?” Qin Xue buttoned her coat, looked in the mirror, and found it quite odd. She went back to the wardrobe, contemplating changing outfits. It seemed an impulsive wardrobe change wasn’t feasible.
Chu Molin watched Qin Xue picking clothes from the side, clearly intending to change her outfit. Yet, he stood still, showing no intention of leaving.
“Aren’t you leaving?” Despite being together with Chu Molin for quite a long time, Qin Xue still wasn’t used to changing clothes in front of him.
“Can I stay?” Chu Molin asked lightly, grinning at his wife.
“What do you think?” Qin Xue kicked him lightly. Stay? He must be joking.
“Hehe.” Chu Molin stood and left the room, chuckling. He dared not tease her anymore; otherwise, she would get mad and he would have to coax her.
“Sister-in-law, there’s hot water in the pot.” Chu Xiaoqiao informed Qin Xue without a change in expression. She had gotten used to such situations already.
“Alright, thank you, Xiaoqiao.” Qin Xue’s encounters with Chu Xiaoqiao at home were also quite common. The sisters-in-law had become extremely familiar with each other.
“Miss, you got up late.” Xue Ling looked at Qin Xue. Was it okay to sleep in that late every day?
“What do you mean?” Qin Xue glared at Xue Ling. Did it even know what it was saying?
“Waiting for you to eat.” Xue Ling scorned her.
“Understood.” Qin Xue went to wash up.
“It’s a good thing you don’t have a mother-in-law bossing you around, or else it would be troublesome.” Xue Ling advised wisely.
“Is it really that big of a deal?” Qin Xue almost choked on her own spit.
“It is. Don’t they say that mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law are arch-enemies?” Xue Ling sighed at her carefree attitude.
“It’s just that I haven’t read a book in ages, so I stayed up late reading yesterday. I woke up once this morning and saw Chu Molin still in bed. It felt warm, and the next thing I knew, I’d dozed off again.” That’s how Qin Xue ended up sleeping in today.
“Oh.” Xue Ling was quite pleased to hear that Qin Xue had been reading. She could potentially help it improve by reading medical books.
