Captain Gisele’s ship had just completed transition positioning.
“Captain, we’re ready to return to the base at any time.”
“Mm.”
Captain Gisele let out a soft hum, then turned to Vionne and asked, “Did you notice anything?”
Vionne gently shook his head.
Before departure, Vionne had remained in the main control room, looking out the window toward Fang Heng and the direction of the main fleet.
He was curious.
What were Fang Heng and the others staying behind for?
Weren’t the ores already no longer being collected?
Captain Gisele said, “In that case, let’s initiate transition–”
“Wait!”
Suddenly, Vionne noticed something and stared fixedly at the massive Nether Sea ship belonging to Fang Heng.
“Look at that!”
On the ship, everyone turned their gaze to the distance.
They saw the spawns’ mechanical units transporting large mechanical devices through underground passages into the Nether Sea.
What were those large machines?
They looked like parts of some kind of large installation.
Vionne furrowed his brow deeply.

When a portion of the dark green prism was revealed outside, everyone’s expression changed simultaneously.

It was the positioning device prism from the Star Eye!
Unbelievable!
He finally realized what Fang Heng had stayed behind to do.
He was trying to take away the entire positioning device of the Star Eye!
This action would likely offend the entire alliance, including the Shadow Clan!
Was he really unafraid?
Vionne and Captain Gisele exchanged glances and saw the same shock in each other’s eyes.
“Reckless!”
Perhaps out of fear, Vionne’s voice trembled slightly as he said angrily, “What if this drags all of humanity into trouble?”
Captain Gisele, shocked by Fang Heng’s boldness, took a deep breath. Just as he was about to speak, he caught a glimpse of something from the corner of his eye–the Iron-Eating Beast Tribe emerging from underground and entering the Nether Sea.

Mining efficiency was expected to drop significantly.
And the bad news didn’t stop there.
Mining teams dispatched to the ore fields reported back that ore reserves were drastically lower than expected, less than 20% of what had been anticipated.
What remained was of extremely low quality, barely worth the effort.
